b and b in biddulph, england

checked into biddulph b and b yesterday about 2.  zak took a nap during which time i went out in search of a good walk.  found great footpath nearby and soon came upon an old sheep dog, who escorted me (led me) over hill and dell and next thing you know were at the top of a steep little butte.  was a wonderful windy, bright, hot, sunny day for walking.  wonderful!

then - an amazing, stellar, wonderful gig last night in Biddulph.  just wonderful.  terrific, participatory crowd, nice full house, decent sound, lovely folks all around.  a great time and i wish every gig was so sweet!

and that completes 7 nights straight of gigs.  i think maybe that’s the longest single run i’ve ever done.

today is day off and i have a good pile of laundry to get done.  also must go to post office to ship the painting (see prior entry) home.  also need to get ready for zak’s impending departure: ie work on rod’s songs, work on a couple of my own new add to the set (summer’s gone and karen kane), go through all the suitcases and get “his” stuff separated from “hers”.  also must stop at bank and make deposit.  AND i’ll also be paying zak out for his portion of In The Woods sales for the tour.

pretty sure that’s my to-do list for my day off tho may be missing something….  will have a think on it….

chow!

xo,
